fusion belts reviewThis may end up being one of the shortest reviews I’ve written, since I’m writing about a single product today, as opposed to a shopping Website, as I usually do.

In this case, the product is something called Fusion Belts, and if you’re active, and particularly if you exercise, you’ll know exactly why this product exists and why you’ll probably want one.

Fusion Belts were designed as an easy way to carry your phone, keys, money, or identification while you’re engaged in activities where you ordinarily wouldn’t have access to a purse or a set of pockets, such as when you’re running, doing aerobics or perhaps hunting or fishing.

Fusion Belts come in a variety of sizes and colors, and offer the opportunity to carry your essentials without feeling weighted down.

They’re also quite affordable, and come in kids’ sizes, too.

Fusion Belts Overview

Fusion Belts got their start a few years ago when a busy mom wanted a better way to carry her phone, keys and ID when she was running.

There were available options at the time, such as fanny packs, backpacks, and sports belts.  Most of these had some sort of drawback – they weren’t comfortable, or durable, or they were bulky, or they weren’t designed for all body types.

So Lisa created Fusion Belts as an alternative to the fanny pack, making them from the same soft material used for yoga pants.  The micro-poly/spandex material is lightweight, stretchy, comfortable and water-resistant.

Fusion Belts include a zipper, so your contents won’t fall out.  You have a choice of sizes for the width (4″ for the slim size and 5″ for the standard.)

Fusion Belts are also available in a variety of sizes, ranging from extra small to 4X, so they should fit just about everyone, and they were created to fit all body types.

They’re also available in kids’ sizes, and the kids’ sizes include an option for a pocket for an insulin pump, should your child be diabetic.

In the Fusion Belts store, you’ll have a choice of 40+ different versions of the belt.

You can sort by:

  • Slim
  • Kids
  • Water Resistant
  • Patterned
  • NFL

fusion beltsYou can pick one with one of a number of delightfully colorful patterns, or you can go with chevrons, polka dots, or paint splatter.

You can also choose from a few Fusion Belts with licensed NFL logos, though we only saw four teams (Bengals, Giants, Cowboys, and the Jaguars) represented in the store when we visited.

It’s possible that more teams are on the way.  It’s also possible that they’ve sold out of others, as some of the patterns on the site were marked as being sold out.

Care for Fusion Belts is easy, too.  You can machine wash them in cold water using a gentle cycle and tumble dry them on low.  That’s about as easy as it gets.

There’s a link to a sizing chart on the page for every item, making it easy to see what size you’ll need.

Fusion Belts Pricing

I’m hesitant to describe the pricing for Fusion Belts, as prices change over time and I don’t always find the time to keep reviews updated.

That said, they’re quite affordable, and while they’re priced at more than $20, they’re not a whole lot more than that.

Fusion Belts Shipping and Payment Options

You can pay for Fusion Belts using a variety of payment options, including:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Discover
  • JCB
  • Diner’s Club
  • PayPal
  • American Express
  • Shopify Pay

Shipping is fairly affordable; the basic price to ship one Fusion Belt is $5.95.  That’s for standard shipping.  Priority Mail is available at an additional cost, and if you need your Fusion Belts overnight, that’s an option, too.

Fusion Belts does ship worldwide, though there is no page on the site that specifically lists shipping charges.  You’ll have to add an item to your shopping cart and provide your name and mailing address before you’ll see the cost of shipping.

The Website is fully secure (https:) so you won’t have to worry about your personal data being compromised during the checkout process.

Fusion Belts Return Policy

fusion belts exampleThe company has a fairly good return policy; you can return your Fusion Belts within 30 days of purchase for a refund, subject to the usual qualifications that come with such warranties.  For specifics, I’d recommend that you consult the Fusion Belts Website.

A couple of things struck me as a bit odd about the site, however.  I had to put a belt into my shopping cart and begin the checkout process before I even had access to the link regarding the site’s privacy or return policies.

Not only that, but there wasn’t much in the way of contact information for the company.  There’s a contact form, but not a listed mailing address, though I did find one on the returns page.  But then again, I had to begin to purchase something before I even saw the link to the returns page.

All of this is relatively minor, but I like it when companies are upfront about who they are and where they’re located.  I also like it when companies are upfront about shipping costs, so I don’t have to put an item in my cart to see how much it costs to ship.

Fusion Belts Summary

I’m always impressed when someone comes up with a clever idea that’s so obvious you wonder why no one ever bothered to come up with it before.

These days, lots of people are active – riding bicycles, jogging, fishing, hunting, walking, doing aerobics, or any one of a number of activities when it just isn’t convenient to haul all of your stuff around.

You certainly don’t want to carry a purse while you’re on a bike ride or at yoga class, but we still need to carry our keys, ID, or money with us.

Backpacks are a nuisance, especially if you’re only carrying one or two small items.

That’s where Fusion Belts are a big help.  They’re available in a variety of sizes, and colors.  They’re soft and comfortable.  They’re stretchy and water-resistant.  They’re easy to care for.

And best of all, they’re fairly inexpensive.

If you’re active, and you want a way to carry those important things with you, Fusion Belts are a good choice.
